Deviation Actions
I just so happen to be a writer. I do the arts on occasion, but writing is my thing. I haven't done any commissions through dA, so I figure I might as well make that service available here. My general wheelhouse tends to be fiction writing for kids to teens in script format, and entertainment articles, which I have some years of experience in. I specialize in superheroes and fantasy epics with ensemble casts. Want proof? Okay.

(I primarily write Bulletoon-related content and articles for the above site)
My rates are as follows.
Caveat: Please, no full manuscripts and no full screenplays. I DO NOT have the time. If you have a manuscript you would like me to proofread, then send along a chapter at a time on a weekly basis and I'll knock it out in increments. How I'll handle screenplays will depend on the length of the script. The general rule is to chop it into fourths. However, screenplays can be discussed.
A) You send me every excruciating detail about your idea and I start writing from that. Tell me about every character, the world, the tone you're aiming for, what sense of humor it has (if one), the rules of the world, species, any specific dynamics between characters, etc. Essentially, send me a Story Bible. That or I make one for you, but I do, of course, charge for that.
B) We just discuss it via Skype or Facebook Messenger. I generally stick to text format conversation, just because they're easy to document and use as notes.
So here's a list of all the stuff I don't do.
As far as I'm concerned, you own the story. Once you have it, you may do with it as you please. All I ask is that my name be on it somewhere. And I do reserve the right to use it in my portfolio. That being said, there may be times when I ask my name not be attached to something, for one reason or another.
I reserve the right to say "No" to any commission inquiries. While it will usually be a matter of scheduling, there is the possibility that I just don't support what's being asked of me.

PRICING & PAYMENT
My rates are as follows.
Proofreading: $10/hr
If you have a script or article you would like me to proofread, I'll gladly go ahead at do that. Tell me, specifically, what sorts of errors you're looking for (or not looking for, for that matter) as there are some things I'd otherwise "correct" that you may have put there on purpose. Like, for example, intentional misspelling or unconventional script formatting. Also: This is not me reviewing your material. That's an editor's job. The content is your own to do with as you please. If you want a critique, that I'd do for free. Just ask.Caveat: Please, no full manuscripts and no full screenplays.
Comic Scripts: $15/page
Arguably what I'm best at, if you have a character, concept, etcetera that you'd like to craft into an elaborate tale in sequential art format, I'd be more than happy to assist. I charge $15 per real page (meaning pages there'd be of the comic, not pages of the actual word document) I send you.Screenwriting: $15/page
My other specialty, the same concept applies. $15 a page. I can work on half hour series scripts or 1-hour drama scripts, generally sitting around 24 and 48 pages, respectively, unless your series is for, say, Netflix or another outlet that doesn't deal with commercials. I can write for shorter projects as well, such as a web series like the ones present in the examples on my channel, linked above.Revisions: Negotiable
They depend on the size of the revision and how much would go into it. I don't charge for fixing spelling errors, typos and stuff. But for more complicated things than that, just ask me.DETAILS
Proofreading
As mentioned above, please just tell me what types of errors your want point out and what types you don't. Alert me of any instances where you might've made a stylistic choice to intentionally do something the unconventional way.Fiction Writing
Okay. This one is a bear because writing for someone else's idea ain't the easiest thing in the world. There are two ways in which I can handle this.A) You send me every excruciating detail about your idea and I start writing from that.
Refunds
My time tends to be on a teeter. If I feel I can't have something finished for you by whatever your deadline, I'll give you a full refund.Return Speed
Fiction writing will generally have a return speed of one to two weeks after I start writing the actual script (may vary if the project is longer).Process
When asking for fiction writing of any kind, first I'll ask the length of the script. Once I know that, I'll send along a quote and you send me half payment up front. After that, I'll work on a quick outline and show it to you (the type of outline differs between comic scripts and screenplays). Once you sign off on that, I'll start the actual scripting. Once you give the OK, I'll get to work on the actual script and have it back to you within 1 to 2 weeks, unless something comes up. When it's complete, you send me the second half of the payment, and I send you the script.DON'Ts
So here's a list of all the stuff I don't do.
- Fan Fiction - If you don't own it and someone doesn't like it, I can get in trouble too.
- Pure Romance - Romance in a story about something else, I can do, and often do with my own writing. Stories that are purely romantic and nothing else are well beyond me, however.
- Smut - Please. Pretty please. Don't ask for porn. Just go read 50 Shades of Grey.
- Realistic Fiction - Real life eludes me too much.
- Non-Fiction - See above.
- Feature Length Screenplays - Hey, if you wanna collaborate with me on a feature, cool. But that ain't something I can just do. Takes too much time. I'm not saying 'No," so much as 'we'd need to talk details, first.'
- Manuscripts - I'm not gonna write your book for you. Too much time, and I don't write prose, anyway.
- Please don't ask me to create a wholly new idea/IP for you. Or full blown stories out of incredibly vague and undeveloped non-ideas. My commissions are meant for ideas that you might have, but may lack the ability to translate into the written word. If I create the idea, it's not yours, it's mine. If you are, say, an artist who'd like to collaborate on a new idea, awesome. Drop me a note and we can talk. But if all you want is a commission for something of your own, and want me to generate the idea for you, then yeah... no.
- This is less of a "Don't" and more of a "Be Wary." I write comics exclusively in western style. I do not know the formatting for Eastern Comics/Manga. So if your product is meant to emulate Eastern Comics, be mindful that it's going to be written in the format of western ones.
RIGHTS
As far as I'm concerned, you own the story. Once you have it, you may do with it as you please. All I ask is that my name be on it somewhere. And I do reserve the right to use it in my portfolio. That being said, there may be times when I ask my name not be attached to something, for one reason or another.
I reserve the right to say "No" to any commission inquiries. While it will usually be a matter of scheduling, there is the possibility that I just don't support what's being asked of me.

Comment Criticism #1
I'll be doing this every now again when I come across a comment that I have to say something about but don't feel like getting into a blown up debate over, especially when I know that the defending party isn't actually going to consider a word I say (because they never do) so here is "Episode 1" if you will. And no, I will not be responding to comments on these. I will eventually transfer this and start doing them on my YouTube channel instead of here because honestly YouTube needs it more. Don't worry, I won't name names in these segments. If this is your comment, you're safe. Anyway here.
